GIROLATA (7) gets top billing because the setup changes sharply in his favour: he is third-up, drops from 60kg to 56kg and comes out of two Mdn Steeplechase runs into a far more suitable dirt assignment. His flat 1800m record is the obvious reservation, but the class and weight profile give him the best winning platform. HIGHLIGHTNING (3) brings the steadier recent dirt form, with a close Sapporo Dirt second to Lord Amalfi two back before a fifth behind Meisho Koshu, and he has already won at this distance. BOUQUET DE GRACE (11) is the quick back-up runner with a genuine last-start pointer, beaten just under three lengths by Kalla at this track despite being unwanted in betting. BELL WOOD PEACE (8) is harder to trust off a well-held run at this venue before a break, but his 1800m record includes a win and a placing, which keeps him in the mix as a value danger.
