MAKOTO BLITZ (9) brings the clearest exposed form after consecutive seconds, most recently beaten two lengths by Leviathan at this track after just failing to hold on. His previous second at Hanshin Dirt, beaten a length and a half after finishing strongly, gives the profile substance and he is the one to beat. PREVOST (7) was well found in an open market on debut at Tokyo but finished sixth behind Yumeno Kakera over 2000m, so the first look at 1800m is the point to answer; he still has enough upside to improve sharply second-up. OBERSTEIN (10) resumes after one run at Chukyo where he was safely held behind Luna Passione, but this is still very early in his career and he is placed prominently in the winning mix if he returns more switched on. T O TITAN (5) was near the top of an open market on debut at this track before failing to make ground behind American Soul, and that market respect keeps him in the conversation as a rebound place-to-win hope.
