A VRAI DIRE (10) has the most dependable profile among the exposed runners, with three runs under the belt and a fourth at Kyoto last start when she loomed up and kept chasing to be beaten three and a half lengths by Batik. Her earlier Sapporo fifth was only fair, but she has already placed at around 1400m and looks ready to peak. ROUGE MYSTICA (6) brings the cleanest debut performance, having run third at this track over 1400m behind Himehakka after settling back, and that race experience reads well for a filly still open to improvement. DHANURASANA (3) resumes after three months and her two runs were plain, yet market respect at Chukyo Dirt suggests there may be more than the form shows. LUCKY HANAKO (2) has been sixth at both runs this campaign, but she closed off better over 1200m last time and gets weight relief third-up.
