FIRM TWENTY (1) brings the strongest recent profile after a close second to Joy Boy at Hanshin and a sound seventh behind Wismar at this track, beaten two and a half lengths in a big field. The move to 3000m is the obvious new test, but he is third-up, gets weight relief and has enough current substance to be the one to beat. PRECIOUS DAY (4) was plain when ninth to Red Bande first-up, yet his broader profile and higher-class background keep him firmly in the race if he improves second-up. ECORO RAISE (5) drops out of Open and Listed company, with his sixth in the Listed Sapporo Nikkei Sho better than it reads from big odds. DIVINE STAR (3) resumes after a solid Sapporo fourth to Yo Hin and has a stronger career strike-rate than several rivals, although 3000m and a first look at this track leave him more a winning hope with conditions to answer.
