GATESYS GEM (5) made a successful return to Australia when she led from this barrier for a win by 6m in the heats of this series at Bendigo. She was very brave in placing in two starts at the top level during a NZ raid and was mixing it with best three-year-olds of both sexes here prior. Has won four of seven attempts at this circuit and should be pushing forward. That could see her hard to stop. I AM WILMA (4) is flying having won her past three outings from tougher draws than this, highlighted by a dominant Vicbred Super Series victory at this circuit and distance. Has ground to make up on Gatesys Gem through her Victoria Oaks third earlier in the campaign but she draws inside that rival and is in career best form. KEAYANG KURKI (3) has been racing consistently without winning including a Vicbred second to I Am Wilma here two back. Draws to be competitive again. A gap to the rest with WIND CHASER (6) next best.
