Tough draws for the main fancies make this interesting but BEACH DIAMOND (7) could be the one to overcome it. Starts widest on the front row but is very consistent and is accustomed to tricky draws, winning the Vicbred final from the back row two back. Strong record at this circuit and distance and doesn't lack for class. SOHO AMERICANO (12) has built a good rivalry with Beach Diamond and while she has been behind that filly in their last three clashes she came from this row to beat her in the Victoria Oaks here in October. Good enough with her A-game and some luck. LET HER ROLL (13) draws widest on the back line but is back in form, following her SA Oaks victory with a last-start heat win and her strike rate at this circuit and distance is strong. PEACE OUT (5) draws wider than when upsetting the top two picks in the heats but she placed behind Beach Diamond in her previous two starts including the Vicbred Final so that was no fluke. SMIRKIN SERENE (9) could sneak into the exotics.
