KALEMLİ ŞAHI (9) has twice been runner-up here attempting 1200m and 1400m including a 2L defeat at the latter trip. That improvement commands respect despite maiden status. BABA KUNTER (2) won a local maiden contesting course and distance by 1.5L before a fifth in a stronger handicap. This return to conditions company suits. YANGIN YERİ (7) also scored across 1200m and was fourth over 1400m most recently when around 5L behind the winner. The shorter trip may suit his speed.
