ZİYA KARDEŞLER (6) opened his account by a neck over 1900m here after an earlier fourth at a mile. The Torok colt now steps up to 2100m with Nurettin Avcı retained and has room to progress against winners at this longer trip. STAR SWORD (1) won a local 1900m contest by 1L before a heavy defeat tackling the same trip. A grade drop with Muhammed Mir Bilgin booked could revive his prospects. CALL TO WARRIOR (7) scored by a neck attempting 2000m before taking fourth contesting course and distance. An inside stall helps his cause. YOU ARE BIG (2) has won on sand and previously placed in stronger company but must reverse his recent downturn after another defeat.
