AEGEAN POWER (2) has finished among the first four in all four dirt starts and was beaten only a head for second over 1200m. His earlier 1400m second came behind an 11L winner and his recent sprint third offered more encouragement. LEONTES (5) took second in that sprint behind a 4L winner while holding third by a head. Nurettin Avcı remains aboard the improving colt. DELİ ALPERİN OĞLU (3) was third attempting today's course and distance with 3.5L separating him from the runner-up. That progress warrants respect. SİLÜET (1) has twice been runner-up on grass and contested Group races. Dropping back to maiden level after tougher contests offers relief.
