SAFAT (6) has been knocking on the door with two straight placings, the latest a solid third over 1100 metres here. He is well placed again, and this is the right sort of race for him to break through. QUIMET (4) scored two back but couldn’t reproduce that level last start when sixth over the same trip. This is a deeper field, but at his best, he’s certainly capable of figuring in the finish. ME LO LLEVO (3) turned in a tidy effort for third over 1000 metres last time and now gets Juan Torres aboard. His figures stack up well, and he is sure to run another honest race. TIGRESA SPIRIT (8) has not featured in her past two but finds a more suitable assignment here. She’s nicely placed to show improvement. Top 4 value.
