GUN SHOOT (7) hasn’t featured in his past two, including a midfield finish over 1000 metres at Club Hipico De Santiago last start, but he is capable of much better than that. This is much easier, and he is the one to beat. MI TIO RAUL (8) is knocking on the door after two strong runs, the latest a solid third over this track and trip. He has the speed to offset the wide draw and looks like one of the leading hopes. ANGEL PENQUISTA (2) was safely held on debut when fourth here over 1000 metres, but he drew wide and will take plenty of benefit from the experience. With a low gate this time, he’s entitled to improve and can feature. CARABINA CRUZADA (3) was well beaten on debut but deserves another chance with natural progression.
