LAZZURA was scratched from last week's Triscay with 59½kg on a 6½kg spread and she is clearly better placed here. Waller won this race two years ago with another four-year-old in Zougotcha, a 104-rater and winner of the Phar Lap as a three-year-old. Lazzura also won that race, but added a pair of Group wins in the spring alongside a couple of good Group 1 runs to be rated 109. Her task has possibly been made harder with the scratching f likely leader Oh Diamond Lil, but she's still the one to beat. Up front now we'll have the fit CINSAULT as the hardest to run down, but MARETH, PINITO and HEAT MISSILE shouldn't be far away and come into contention now. MODELLA (can win a nice race this prep, draws okay) and CILACAP could be the best closers from a future point of view.
