The highlight of the day and the standard situation of some class runners resuming. Last year we lost this meeting to weather and lost this race as it wasn't rescheduled. Happy to have it back. 6 and 5 lead out. ANGEL CAPITAL is the quality runner of the group but he has found the rise to G1 grade difficult with his off-speed approach. That was typified in the All Aged before his break, with McDonald here and out to make amends. And this is not a G1. NINJA and NAPOLEONIC have trialed together twice leading in, winning one apiece with the other runner-up. NINJA might just end up getting the sweet run ahead of ANGEL so he gets the very slight nod.
