DUNDONALD is very fit and has won or placed in all three synthetic starts in the distance range. Twice placed close up here at the trip then easy winner at Ballarat synthetic. Has tactical speed to use the barrier. CHIHULY was too keen in town last start so forgive the run. Was stepping right up in distance third up off long break so sure to improve. Only run on synthetic was here almost two years ago when bombed start by two lengths was was beaten 2.2 lengths over 1400m in BM64 grade. GOOD HARMONY ran well here in synthetic debut off a month break and went well at the Ballarat equivalent last start. CYCLONE HARMONY has plenty of excuses from last start racing three deep without cover taking off a long way from home and losing a plate. IT'S A GIVEN appreciated a bit more tempo in her second run on synthetic here when a narrow winner over consistent Reel Raider. They came clear by 4.2 lengths over third placed runner.
