LIECHTENSTEIN (6) fought on gamely in a good field at Ellerslie 3 weeks ago when finishing fifth over 1100m. She will appreciate racing in an anti-clockwise direction for the first time this prep, and she is good enough to take this out. SPANDEEDO (2) has been a touch plain in his last couple of starts, and his recent freshen up would have done him no harm. He drops back to a more suitable 1200m and can bounce back into form here. Each way. DAZZ (3) needed the run fresh up at Ellerslie, and then was much better when fourth at Trentham 5 weeks ago. He has had a quiet trial since then, and from a good draw, he is capable of a top 4 finish again. CHESTER BOY (5) has raced his way into full fitness and some good form. He revels in the wet, and he can produce another honest effort in this. SHACKTIME (7) rattled home late for fourth fresh up at Whanganui, and then raced closer to the pace and finished third at Trentham 3 weeks ago. She is peaking third up, so stick with her.
