He is bred to go on with the job, and he can measure up in this better field as well. OH MAIMAI (5) tried hard in a testing heavy ground at New Plymouth 4 weeks ago over 1800m, finishing fifth. She is better off being kept to the shorter trips for now, and she has each-way claims in this even field. KAWAKAWA (7) has been below her best lately, but is nicely placed in this, and she can bounce back into form with an extra 200m to run in this suitable small field.
