On pace runners, 1, 3, 4, 5, 9. SHAHAAMEH finished unplaced at home (Rosehill) last start when her effort was better than it appears on paper. She will now have scope to improve when she makes her Newcastle debut today. LIANTARNAM performed well above market place expectations here, within this distance range two weeks ago and natural improvement can now be expected. MUMBAI MAHARANI has trialed since there were excuses for an unplaced effort here first up. She can only now present race-fitter. IN HER NAME must be forgiven for an unplaced Rosehill effort on debut at her home base when she struck trouble on the day. SHE CAN PARTY and SPECIAL SPIN are both debutants and they have both trialed twice since a spell. They should be treated with respect when they tackle a distance that can suit them at their first start.
