PARIAH PEARL opened up well at the end of 1600m in town last start and after four runs back from a spell has a good foundation for the longer trip. Gear changes suggest stable have got her focussing. Fourth placing behind Surfin' Bird when on pace in town a great reference. Not a lot of pace here, so being positive would help. MALE MODEL jumps up 500m in trip and run well over 1700m in previous campaign. Forget 2400m run at Sandown when everything that could possibly go wrong in a race eventuated. MIDNIGHT GLOW's first-up record suggests he is a very clean winded galloper and ran a great race first up over 1700m off a seven week break. 2000m run at Caulfield five starts back against stakes performers Suntora and Berkley Square is great form for this. PETIT EAGLE rises in class, but has staying prowess judging by how strong she was at the end of 1800m in South Australia when making her distance debut. Was increasing margin after the line, a good sign the 2000m unlikely to be a problem. ALL SO CLEAR gets a lovely run from soft draw, and did a good job with big weight last start. THE DEVIL IN HER should benefit from her last start return to middle distance racing at Sandown Lakeside.
