BAD BLOOD looked good winning on debut over subsequent winner Positive Image on Good4 then had a 10 week break and was suited by the genuine tempo when settling back and storming clear of rivals. First four in the run all unplaced. Against that ran 7 lengths quicker than "winning machine" Magnardo did in the the previous race, a BM56. Drawn low. CHICAGO BLUES was tried at Group3 level in the spring and not disgraced off a wide run without getting cover. Won nicely first up last preparation beating Saturday metro performer Celtics. HOLLYWOODBOULEVARD will be fitter for two runs from a spell and chances improve away from heavy ground. Twice a winner here at only two starts and both those 1100m wins suggested 1200m would suit. Course and distance specialist VILNIUS resumes, but has a strong first-up profile and has saluted in the last two first up runs here at the trip. MILBRAE stuggled on the heavy last start, but had consistent non-metro form before two significant breaks in form. Guided by market.
