Selections: 1-2-4-6

1000m C1 Plate. No's 1,3,7,9,10,12 look to be the speed. The resuming GALAVINO claimed 2kg's and easily won on soft ground on debut, was then spelled. Has won both trials leading into this, latter on soft. Maloney aboard hence rises 4.5 kgs but in Adam Campton I am happy to trust. The resuming REWRITE has won or placed all three wet track encounters, yet to race in heavy going. The 1st-up winner, TERRAX, was unlayable and poor only prior wet. The resuming URBAN LAD won 1st-up last time in on a soft 7 and placed in heavy prior to spelling. The resuming WOOTTEN HYDE ran well (without winning) both prior on soft ground. CONFORMITY should have finished closer when resuming, soft holds no fears (heavy unknown). The resuming JADA ROSE won only prior fresh and then had excuses 2nd-up when 3rd in heavy ground to (subsequent) three times winner, Spirit Of Barty. SAVAGE SEQUEL will be racing on affected ground for the first time. Not at all sure which way to go, but reckon no's 1,2,4,6,8 warrant at least as much respect as any other. Selections in saddlecloth order rather than preference.
