Looks a nice horse in the making. SHANONI looked to be a horse who would continue to improve. No luck in BM72 at Canterbury two runs back and placed first up last preparation. One run heavy was runner-up, but first two gapped third placed runner. YUKI, not to be confused with YUUKI in previous race, was a comfortable winner on debut then stepped up in grade and had a massive two horse war over last 100m when just missing in heads-up-down scenario. They put four lengths on their rivals. EXPRESS CLASS was solid enough off a break in Saturday metro company and now jumps up to a more suitable trip. Form around Sixties and Observer is appealing. ELECTRIC ELVIS should get perfect run for Lane from inside barrier. In great form after spacing rivals at Bairnsdale and then led and game in town last start over 1400m so back to 1300m looks another positive. PRINCE OF BROOKY continues to run well. Placed two of three on soft.
