GOLD CHALICE ran very well on debut in Heavy9 conditions on the big track at Geelong. Shot well clear of rivals and stayed closer to the inner than those two out wide who dive bombed him late. He still finished 3.5 lengths in front of fourth. Trick is how the debutants handle heavy with raceday pressure. The attractive looking COME TOGETHER jumped out nicely on Heavy 8 for same raceday rider. Bit keen, but still strong at the finish to win. Easy all the way win in previous jumpout win. Moves well. HYRDO RUSH wasn't overly extended to win jumpout on Heavy 8 at St Arnaud and solid on Heavy 9 here previous one with higher weighted rider than last one. PRINCE OF PORTLAND was close up on Heavy 8 in Mornington jump out. Ran 2nd best last 800 and 600m when running on in debut on Pakenham synthetic.
