KELHEIM (6) has the right profile to take this out after a narrow sixth at Hanshin when well-supported favourite, and her Chukyo second two back showed she can finish strongly when the race sets up. The first attempt at 1600m is the query, but she is race fit, third-up and brings a more progressive shape than most. DAISY (11) is the reliable danger, with a nose second two runs ago and a strong 1600m record, though she has been costly to follow with one win from 19 starts. TAISEI ASTRO (12) was only beaten just under a length at this track last start and has excellent figures around this distance, making him a genuine winning hope again. NAC WHITE (7) has a track win in the book and was much better when sixth at this venue last time, beaten two and a half lengths, so her latest run gives her a way into the race.
