ARDE KINGDOM (10) resumes as the horse with the most appeal despite a poor final run before the break, when he was second last at Fukushima Dirt after conceding a big start. His broader season reads better than that, with one win and one placing from five starts, and the return of a rider with a win and a placing from six aboard gives him a solid platform to rebound. MASATCHE HAMMER (1) has the inside draw, a win at this track and a win at the distance, so his first-up tenth behind Fun Time Gift can be improved on with race fitness. BLESSED NILE (8) brings the most reliable current form, having run fourth at her past two starts, most recently beaten two and a half lengths by Summer Madness at this venue at big odds. KANREISKI (7) is harder to trust on overall profile, but his sixth behind Fun Time Gift was a clear step back towards competitive form and he has already won at this track and distance.
