POST TRUTH (10) sets the standard after a sharp debut second in a NEWCOMER over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten just under a length after picking up strongly. She was respected in an open market there, has already placed at this distance, and the line through Aire Barbados gives her exposed form a clear edge. HISHI HORIZON (9) is the main danger after finishing second in a NEWCOMER at this track, albeit beaten seven lengths by Val Camonica; the ¥275m yearling purchase was near the top of betting and can improve with that race experience. AIRE BARBADOS (11) has more to find on raw form but his sixth at this track last start was much better than his debut, and he did finish off nicely over 1400m. ZERBST (5) has to rebound from a last-start failure at this venue, yet his debut fourth at Nakayama was sound enough to keep him in the minor mix if his debut level returns.
