STAR ANISE (10) is smart and the clear benchmark in ratings. Promising filly having first try this longer journey but has won 2/2 this level already and has a big finish. Too good for many of these fresh and looks the one to beat again. LAUGHTERLINES (18) is a promising type unbeaten here in two runs. Too strong fresh over 2000m and looks like she will relish the extra ground. Definite danger with Lane sticking. JURYOKU PIERROT (16) will find this much tougher but far too good over 2000m fresh winning in Listed grade. Has a big finish and plenty of upside. Can measure up again. DREAM CORE (12) is a talented filly who missed the frame for the first time fresh in the Oka Sho behind Star Anise. Went back from a wide gate there and made good ground but gave too big a start over the mile. Looks suited by the extra journey and can bounce back. ENNE (13) was too good on debut then straight into the Grade 2 Flora Stakes and was runner-up. Has good upside and looks a big chance again.
