CALL ME SPARKLE (2) gets top billing after resuming with a close second over 1200m at this track, beaten just under a length while well found in betting. The step up to 1400m looks ideal and while he may get back in the run, he looks poised to go one better with the fresh effort under his belt.. CALIFORNIA WAVES (5) has been building through the campaign, beaten half a length two back by Lady's Love before another narrow third as favourite. Drawn out again today, but that won't hurt with his racing style and a forward showing is on the cards again with the blinkers going back on. BEAUTY AWARD (4) resumes after a five-month break, but his final run last campaign was a genuine 1400m placing at this track and he remains lightly raced with upside. Has trialled well coming in and can play a role. LADY'S LOVE (1) arrives off a track-and-distance win and retains Zac Purton. Looks a progressive type however and can win again without surprising.
