GORGEOUS VICTORY (10) gets the nod after another solid placing at this track, beaten a length by Jolly Brilliant after being well-supported favourite. Purton sticking with him is a positive sign and the form out of his last start has stacked up. Drawn well again and can put it all together this time. ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT (6) has the most persuasive recent winning form, following a C5 win over Golden Fortune with a nose second to Romantic Fantasy at Happy Valley. He's trialled well since that last run 53 days ago, and he's sure to be strong at the finish. POLAR PATCH (13) is still a maiden, but he has placed three times from eight starts at this track and comes off a sound third behind Smart Fat Cat. That looks a nice formline for this. LUCKY YEAR (8) was disappointing as favourite last start, but coming back to the mile looks a big tick and he moved well in a recent trial.
