MARGOT SUNS (5) turned in a fair effort at Kyoto Dirt over 1400m at her last run 12 weeks ago, finishing fourth and beaten 0.9 lengths. Looks a winning chance. ROUGE VIVACE (1) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt after being in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. LAU NIU (8) is a promising type who scored at her last run before a break three-and-a-half months ago over 1500m at Nagoya. Has never been out of the placings first up from two tries. This is a tougher field but she is worth following up. KALMIA CROWN (6) returns after a spell of nine weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Definite top-three chance.
