FUJI REIMEI (6) finished third when resuming last time out over this course and distance, travelling towards the tail before winding up strongly in the closing stages. Will be a major player again. MUGELLO (1) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 2400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FIRE TRICK (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2400m at this track, beaten 3 lengths into fourth. Ready to peak at this stage of the prep. JO TARUMAE (5) has been kept fresh since sitting on the pace last time but fading to finish eighth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt eight weeks ago. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Not to be discounted.
