MAGLIA IRIDATA (6) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 1800m at Tokyo at her last appearance on November 1 which was the only run of that campaign. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Happy to have her on top. MIKKI MADONNA (3) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing fifth over 1800m in the G2 Rose Stakes (Shuka Sho Trial) at Hanshin four months ago. That form puts her right in this. SWALLOW CITY (18) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing eighth at this track over 1800m. Placed to advantage and can turn things around. NIFLHEIMR (16) wasn't all that far away when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Tokyo, beaten 3.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish.
