FANDOM (8) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 11 lengths away in 14th over 2400m in the G1 Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) on June 1 which was the only run of that prep. Has a strong record when resuming, including three wins. Leading contender. DANON AYERS ROCK (1) was unwanted in betting when resuming last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 0.6 lengths into third over 1600m at Listed level at Hanshin. Expected to run well again. LILA BONITO (5) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Capable of testing this field. KA PILINA (4) resumed last time out and finished sixth over 1600m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Can build on that promising effort.
