LA JUERGA (6) was prominent from the outset on debut last start and held on well for third, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1400m at Niigata. Big chance based on that effort. ALEX K (7) is a promising type who was in the placings on debut before a fourth last time over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Expecting a bold showing. COSMO BESKJEDEN (3) showed early speed from a good draw last time but was swamped late and finished 12th, beaten 12 lengths, over 1400m at Niigata. Can give a sight if at her best. KISEKINO UNICORN (12) returns after 11 weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 1200m at Hakodate. Solid top-three hope.
