LAST LEGACY (7) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Nicely placed and expected to go well. NIGHT SLUGGER (9) returned from a break and was on dirt for the first time last start when 2.75 lengths back in third over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Boasts a solid second-up record and is capable of taking this out. BLADE SUCCESS (11) returned from a spell four weeks ago when he was in contention on the turn before being beaten 8 lengths into 11th over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
