ASHAKA TOBE (9) lines up for the first time since December 28. Looking to emulate his win at this track at the beginning of last prep. Great record fresh and also this course and distance. Look for a bold run. IRIFI (10) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fifth, beaten 1.75 lengths, at Niigata Dirt over 1200m. Has a wide gate here but is a definite danger. WANDERER (8) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on June 6, finishing eighth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Has a strong first-up record, scoring on two occasions from three runs. Has found the right race and is worth including. DON REPULSE (2) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on June 6, finishing seventh and beaten 5 lengths over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Reunites with Kosei Miura who has been in the money two times when aboard. Not to be discounted.
