MARU MORI RAPIDUS (3) is the clear horse to beat off consecutive Mdn placings at Kyoto Dirt and Hanshin Dirt before the break, the latest a third to Joan when beaten just over three lengths after working home evenly. He is still a maiden and has been away ten months, but two placings from his past three runs and five previous tries around 1500m give him enough substance for this. T O PERSONAL (11) is the main danger after an eye-catching fourth to Pomme D'Or at this track, closing from a long way back at big odds and beaten just over two lengths. KAFUJI JAVA (4) has the stronger track-and-distance base, with three wins and six places from 23 attempts at this course and trip, and his last-start B1 third behind Miracle Kaiser reads well for this grade. ASANEGAMI (9) is harder to trust as a win prospect given she remains winless, but last start was at least a fairer seventh in B1 company after a heavy Ohi defeat, so she can be included for minor money if she holds that level.
