SUTEKINA KOKORO (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 850m at Mizusawa. Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. T RAMIREZ (2) hit the frame when resuming two runs back but couldn't back it up last start when sixth over 1400m at Mizusawa. Has started three times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. The engagement of Ryo Takamatsu is noteworthy. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. BEE BARISTA (4) missed the frame last start over 850m at Mizusawa, beaten 1.4 lengths into fifth. Strong prospects. KUNG FU DANCE (11) finished adrift in sixth last time over 1400m at Mizusawa in a disappointing performance. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
