BREAK GIRL (8) gets the nod off the most reliable looking profile, having converted heavy support into a Hanshin Mdn win over 1600m and earlier run second at Kokura when sent out odds-on. She has already placed at around this distance and the Christophe Lemaire combination is one from one, giving her the strongest look. Love the upside. DEMIAN (3) brings a strong recent rating despite finishing ninth at Tokyo behind Agordino, as he was only beaten five and a half lengths and his debut win over Desert Spirit showed a sharp enough turn of foot. He is well placed to rebound. MIRANDA SMILE (5) was strong through the line winning on debut at Hanshin and looks the next danger, although she has not raced at around 1800m before. REIGN IN THE SKY (9) won at this track on debut after quickening impressively, and that immediate course-and-trip profile keeps her firmly in the winning mix if she takes the expected step forward.
