She was beaten just under a length by Mariandel at Hanshin first-up and had earlier run second to Win Galahad at Kokura, so the 1400m assignment is the fresh element rather than a knock. FORTUNA ROSSA (11) is the clear danger after closing strongly for second at Hanshin, beaten a neck, and her record around this distance gives her a solid base. RHEIN ELEGANT (4) has also done little wrong, placing twice from two runs at the trip and going close behind Benibana at Chukyo. ALLER AU COEUR (5) resumes after being beaten three lengths as favourite on debut; she has to show a sharper winning edge, but that Chukyo fourth leaves her with enough substance to press for a minor upset.
