MAPOGO (12) is the top pick on the strength of a forgiving last-start profile and a better platform third-up. He was kept safe in an open market when eighth behind Georgian Sigma, but covering ground throughout made that beaten margin of just under three lengths more respectable, and his earlier fourth at this track had him much closer. IRON SECURITY (7) brings the cleanest exposed recent finish, beaten only a neck by Georgian Sigma after closing off well, and the 1000m record shows he is comfortable enough at this trip. FLOW RIDER (6) is the fresh element among the main hopes, with no race form to measure directly but a family background that gives him enough substance to be treated seriously on debut. GEORGIAN SIGMA (3) has already proved the form line, winning by a neck last start after a second the run prior, and his three-from-three placing record at this track and distance keeps him firmly in the winning mix.
