HAPPY SMILE (4) produced a sharp first-up win at this track, coming wide and finishing strongly to beat Gazeley by a head. His prior third at this venue was also close. He's had a nice trial since and this looks to shape similarly. Up in weight now but can repeat the dose. LUCK IS BACK (8) is race fit and has been respected in recent markets, with a fourth behind Sunday's Serenade following a narrow enough defeat to Happy Smile at this venue. He has two wins at around 1650m and rates the main danger. TURIN CHAMPIONS (3) was plain first-up at Sha Tin, but his prior run behind Family Jewel reads well for this, and Purton going on is a major positive. URANUS STAR (1) has been rather plain recently, but gets the nod with a drop in class and a race shape that looks to suit.
