THUNDER PRINCE (5) bolted in last start over this track and trip in a good return to form, scoring by 2L with Purton in the saddle. Up in weight now and has a wider draw, but Purton should be able to negotiate the early stages. He'll be hard to hold out if he can slot in early in proceedings. GAMEPLAYER ELITE (8) won nicely two back as favourite before a 0.5L defeat last time out when closing strongly from the back. He draws the inside once again for Bentley and should get every chance. Rates highly on his past couple and can go one better without surprising. MIGHTY FIGHTER (4) blew the start on debut and never featured. He was sent back to the trials were he was given a quiet time of it and moved well. He jumped a $7.50 chance on debut on the back of some handy trials. Big chance if he puts his mind on the job. SUPERB KING (2) rates highly on his past couple and is not to be discounted.
