MAGEVA SPEED (3) is a promising galloper who resumes from a break. Last raced when second over 1600m at Tokyo six-and-a-half months ago. Yet to miss the frame from four starts at the trip, including a win and is sure to play a big role. ELEGANCE ASK (1) is a talented filly who tackled a tougher race at her last run on April 12 and finished eighth behind Star Anise over 1600m in the G1 Oka Sho (Japanese 1000 Guineas) at this track. Can feature in this easier company. BIRTHDAY FLIGHT (4) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when she found a couple better over 1600m at Chukyo. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. BICE MARE (8) is back from a spell of three months. Closed last prep as a winner, taking out a 1600m contest at this track by a nose. Should run very well.
