SENA STYLE (8) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over 2000m in the G1 Shuka Sho at Kyoto. Big class drop and capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. WILL SURVIVE (10) finished second over 2000m at this track at her most recent appearance on September 20. One of the genuine hopes in the race. ARABELLA (2) has not appeared since she won over 1800m at Kyoto on October 11. Definite top-three chance. HEART METEOR (9) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on August 30, finishing well back over 2000m at Sapporo. She resumed from a spell and should be primed to run well.
