Europa Conference League Final Betting Tips: Chelsea to Prevail in Poland?

Chelsea are the favourites to end their 2024/25 campaign by lifting the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy on Thursday morning (05:00 Am AEST).

So can Real Betis upset the odds in Poland? Browse Sportsbet’s UEFA Europa Conference League final betting odds and markets and have your say.

The Road to the Final

Chelsea have enjoyed a solid first season under head coach Enzo Maresca, finishing in fourth place in the English Premier League to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

They made serene progress through the Europa Conference League too, topping the league phase – winning six out of six games, before dominating the knockout phase: beating Copenhagen, Legia Warsaw and Djurgardens by an aggregate margin of at least two goals each time.

Real Betis could only finish 15th in the league phase (W3 D1 L2), but took advantage of a series of cosy draws in the knockout stages: beating Gent, Vitoria Guimaraes and Jagiellonia Bialystok to set up a semi-final with Fiorentina.

That went to extra time, with an Abde Ezzalzouli goal enough to send the Spaniards through to the final.

UEFA Europa Conference League Final Betting Odds

There’s two sets of match result odds to consider here: the 90-minute market and the ‘to lift the trophy’ category.

In the 90-minute market, Chelsea are the favourites to win at $1.75, with Real Betis the underdogs at $4.60 and the draw available at $3.40.

The English side are $1.35 to lift the trophy, with Betis available at $3.12.

UEFA Europa Conference League Final: Best Betting Angles

In theory, the team that finishes fourth in the EPL is stronger than the side that finishes sixth in La Liga.

But Real Betis have beaten Real Madrid this season, while twice holding Barcelona to draws. In a one-off game, they should not be discounted.

Goals might be the play here. Betis’ last eleven La Liga games all witnessed both teams scoring, with eight of those satisfying the Over 2.5 Goals market. Without key defender Diego Llorente, they appear vulnerable.

Chelsea too have shown frailties on their travels, winning 8/19 on the road in the EPL and conceding 25. At a neutral venue, they may well be exposed by a Betis outfit that is capable in attack.

So Both Teams to Score ($1.80) and Over 2.5 Goals ($1.90) are the main plays, with the adventurous able to double up in a Same Game Multi at $2.30.

Although his form tailed off towards the second half of the season, Cole Palmer is still a likely route to goal for Chelsea – he’s the nominated penalty and set-piece taker, alongside his ability in open play.

So he’s an interesting anytime goalscorer option at $2.40 in a game in which goals, despite the cagey nature of cup finals, are expected.
