<p>For the longest time the amount female soccer players get paid has been the source of much debate.</p> <p>The impact women’s soccer has had on the global sporting landscape in recent times is plain to see, no more so than in Australia.</p> <p>You only have to look at the success of the recent Women’s World Cup that was hosted Down Under and the sell-out crowds it attracted.</p> <p>There’s no two ways about it, women’s soccer is on the rise and so are the players’ salaries.</p> <p>Just how much do the top female players in the top leagues in America, England and Europe take home a year?</p> <p>Let’s find out! Trinity Rodman – $445k</h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Despite being the daughter of an NBA legend, Trinity Rodman has managed to make a name all for herself.</p> <p>Nepotism can only get you so far in the sporting world and you can tell by her talents that Rodman is a self-made woman.</p> <p>She became the youngest drafted player in NWSL history and won both the Rookie of the Year and the U.S Soccer Young Female Player of the Year awards following her first full season in the NWSL.</p> <p>She is now one of the highest paid female soccer players in the world and still just 21 years old, is only going to get better and better. Alexia Putellas – $1.08 million</h2> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Currently the only million-dollar woman in world soccer, Alexia Putellas has more than earned her bumper paycheck.</p> <p>She is captain of both Barcelona and current World Champions Spain.
