KINGS MERCHANT (3) dug deep to win at Chester three weeks ago by a short head but disappointed at Catterick a fortnight later. Has won over course and distance and is respected if well supported. GREAT (2) won well at Carlisle but well held when fifth at Beverley. Needs to get back on track and market confidence would be significant. BAY BREEZE (7) well exposed and is on a long losing run. Finished 3.5L down at Carlisle four weeks ago but is respected from a stable who enjoy good success here. NORTHCLIFF (1) has looked disappointing for this stable but has been given a chance by the assessor. One to note.
