Selections: 1-4-1-5

PALM READER (1) clearly highly thought of and was sent off as favourite on debut at Beverley four weeks ago before running out a 1.75L winner in a tongue strap. Looks to have a harder task here under a penalty but clearly has plenty of ability. BATTLE FEVER (4) not disgraced behind Palm Reader (1) on debut but disappointed when up to 1200m at Hamilton. Drops back in trip and holds every chance. RED BLUE POINT (5) comes from a good yard and is related to a winner. Dam won over this trip as a juvenile and is a likely type. BACHA (3) well related but looked a long term project at Newcastle. Best watched.
