SECRET STAR (2) turned in a fine effort to win by half a length at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of another big performance. AMOR PROFUNDO (11) was flying with two wins in a row before being sent out favourite last time and finishing fourth over 1000m at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. FAST VOLK (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 29 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1000m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. MONCHO (7) did a great job to score by 5 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose.
