OVERBITE (1) did a great job to score by 1.75 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Has the class to take care of this field. NUMBAT (8) was well found in the betting last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 1300m at this track in a disappointing performance. Nicely placed to make amends. TOPAZIO (4) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1300m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. TAMOIO (6) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1300m at this track and proved too strong, scoring by 2.75 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and is worth following up.
